I started my yoga journey 16 years ago, whilst working in the music industry. The lifestyle and late nights (5 festivals in one summer!) began to take a toll and I was diagnosed with severe endometriosis, after two operations and being told I may not conceive naturally I knew I had to change my lifestyle. Yoga played the main part of this and as I began to deepen my practise I decided to take my Hatha yoga, pregnancy yoga and postnatal teacher training with schools BWY, Tara Lee pregnancy yoga method, BSY, yoga Kidz and calm for Kids, Well Woman teacher training with yoga campus taught by the fabulous Uma Dinsmore – Tuli. I am also trained in Yoga therapy and Reiki Healing, taking my total training hours to over 400. I am a proud member of and insured with The Independent Yoga Network.
I am on a continual progressive yoga journey and I practise Kundalini yoga at home daily. I have been lucky enough to attend workshops with Maya Fiennes who is my main yogic inspiration. I have been a student of many a great teacher such as Jill Cook, Michael Chissick (yoga for schools) Tara Lee & Christine Kerr. I take a weekly dynamic yoga class with a fantastic and knowledgeable teacher Sarah Wilde, I have also attended workshops and advance teacher training with her teacher Godfri Devereux.
With regards to my family I managed to conceive naturally and have two amazing and beautiful daughters Grace Tulip 8 years old and Beatrix Belle 5. I am happily married to my graphic designer husband Spencer and we live just outside London in the lovely village of Theydon Bois.
