Pregnancy Yoga

Why practise yoga during pregnancy?

There are many benefits to be gained from a regular practise such as:

  • Increased flexibility
  • Aids relaxation, sleep patterns and mood swings
  • Improves circulation
  • Helps to open the pelvis to aid labour
  • Reduces swelling
  • Helps to relieve morning sickness
  • Improves digestion, constipation

You can practise yoga during pregnancy even if you are a complete beginner however it is advisable to wait until after 12 weeks to start and always on the permission of your doctor / midwife. My classes are suitable right up to the birth of your baby.

Come and enjoy my nurturing, gentle and intimate pregnancy yoga class. Fusing traditional Hatha yoga along with a kundalini influence, my method helps to take you on a blissful birthing journey.

Alongside my training I use the experience of pregnancy and the births of my two children, I have designed my classes to be used all the way up to the birth of your baby.

My classes work hand in hand with hypnobirthing and Reiki. I offer reiki (a subtle Japanese healing technique) to my students during relaxation.

The classes are very interactive encouraging bonds between mothers to be from all walks of life. Hopefully you will leave my classes with all the tools you need to help you have the birth you want, your way.
