Last week I had the great privilege to be a student in Tara Lee’s Pregnancy Yoga class at The Life Centre, Notting Hill.
I had not been to the Life Centre before, so was a little apprehensive about going and it being for ‘yoga bunnies’. However when I arrived I was greeted by the friendly receptionist who explained all about the centre and the classes/ therapies offered there.
The studio in which Tara’s class was being held was big, light and bright white, the perfect yoga studio in fact!
Tara is friendly and has a calming aura about her and seemed genuinely interested in my yoga journey and made me feel very welcome and at ease. Once the students had arrived, Tara asked them all to talk a little about themselves, stages of pregnancy and gave them advice on their various aliments.
The class itself just flowed, seamless from one posture to another. Tara’s instructions were clear and precise with her voice almost aiding the active meditations.
I almost wished I was pregnant again! I am looking forward to attending more of Tara’s up and coming workshops. Hopefully I will have the chance in the near future to assist her in The Mother and baby classes that she runs also at The Life centre.
